Hymn To A Cosmic Clock

Like a clock,
Time must include
Spring and escapement--
Lest all at once unwind--
In planetary paths, blue iris
Swirls and bearded falls
Under astringent harmonies
Sung in moonlight and sun.
After rain it opens and,
In its time, is done.

  4. But it always springs back. So which is more real, the manifestation or the force that ceaselessly resurrects it? (Both, in their own way, I presume.)

  5. Hey Geo! Those really are some interesting irises; my mother would not approve. The words are lovely and gently elusive for me. Nice work, Sir! Indigo
