Anima

I am made, as
You are, from
The stuff of stars,
Am more, as
You are more,
Than an echo
Of predators,
History --you
Are evolving
A mystery well
Worth solving.

  3. Your poem reminds me of our gardener who used to say that we are our parent's living dream and therefore more than just a mind and limbs.

  7. We are all iterations of carbon, eh? It comforts me to think that not long from now I'll join the molecules of my ancestors, those I know that have gone before me. My wife Cary, who has to come back at night to comfort me when I awake won't have to make the journey. .
    Yeah, we are stardust.

    1. Yes, a measured combustion, metabolism. A universe gone to a lot of trouble to generate life and love and hearts that break but go on loving. My admiration for your strength. My thanks for your comment.
