Solstice

Oncoming rain.
Overhead a
Herd of clouds sails
From sunset and
Tree frogs sound
Like castanets.
West creek curve
Echoes a chance bit
Of blue between billows.
Something in me knows
Echoes and chance.
It sways me, I move.
Madam Earth, I believe
We have a dance.

And so evocative of our skies here at this very moment (we are teetering on the edge of "Storm Barbara").

Oh that fabulous image of dancing with Madam Earth...definitely appeals to the Druid in me!

    Many thanks.:)

Wishing you both a Magical Holiday.:))

    1. Rick, I suspect the dance goes on even when we stand perfectly still.

  6. I hope you and yours had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and are looking forward to a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. May we display your header on our new site directory? As it is now, the site title (linked back to its home page) is listed, and we think displaying the header will attract more attention. In any event, we hope you will come by and see what is going on at SiteHoundSniffs.com.

    1. Happy new year to you too, Munir. "Mother Earth" is appropriate and universal. I only call her "Madam" when asking her to dance with me.
