Star Droving

If incandescent clouds lit
In old brass by the sun--
Run under, fallen in flame--
Became a bell that rang
Light instead of sound,
They would still summon night
And pull the settling
Stars around our souls.

  4. Geo, I always have to read any good poetry at least half a dozen times. To read more than the words, to appreciate the message. And this is very good; thank you. Indigo

The best, most innovative, out of the way thing I have read in quite some time.

I kind of can't understand poetry, but who the hell needs to understand it when you've got something as great as the stuff you just wrote? Great going!

  9. [Oops, I guess it's forgivable to foul up a comment on my own blog]

I'll just say thank you for reading my poem. Indigo, Munir, Michelle and KK, you are all most kind.
