Roofcat 2
Roofcat surveys all He has no concept of Owning --owns nothing Except water in the Creek, the shrieking Things he eats and Catches sunset where Last it lays on the Roofspine-- asks for Nothing of mine from His high peak so, though A friend, seldom speaks.
The "shrieking things part" gave me goose bumps. The poem is cute and the photo is so clear. Could you believe cats can sit any place even if it is dangerous.
Yes, that silent friend who sits there, asking absolutely nothing...and how lonely the roofspine would be without his presence... A great post, Geo...I so enjoyed it :)
Yes, I did love this, especially the 'shrieking things' and 'a friend, seldom speaks'.

ReplyDeleteFor some reason I do not like cats. But I think they are a great example of evolution. Cunning indeed.
