Thought and dandelions Overgrow their own tops So it's hard to tell where Either stops -- then At a living confluence, They join in wind, Take flight and influence Likely never ends.
It is such a cute comparison. You attribute such a delicate thought to the Dandelions. This is a gift you have, I mean to look at things and think different things about them. Wow !
What lovely words. I always enjoy watching the flight of the dandelion. Blown endless ones with my children - although Adam sucked instead of blowing once!
So many of my thoughts have flown away in the wind. Perhaps that's why my mother said I was "flighty".
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Geo. We have had some strong winds here in Montreal of late. It was quite nice.
ReplyDeleteYes...so good to sometimes allow our thoughts to fly away with the dandelion seeds...and maybe take root in far away dreams...:)

ReplyDeleteMy garden is rich in dandelions every year. Maybe every year is the operative phrase?

ReplyDeleteThis is a great analogy, Geo. Some of my thoughts are like little dandelion pieces stuck in clothing or on fences or whatever. They just don't go!
ReplyDeleteYou know exactly what you are doing, poet.
ReplyDeleteIntriguing and crafty, my friend. I like the way "influence" can end a sentence and/or start a new one - it likely never ends. You're brilliant.
ReplyDeleteYes, that influence ... the circle of life ...everything connected ... so much said in so few words.
