A description of what started this particular blog can be found in its first entry --Feb. 9, 2009. It's about healing.
Sitting in dappling light - just talking - shadows dancing down a breezy tree.....I like the soothing images, Geo.
It was a soothing tour. I think photo was in (sculptor) Gerald Walburg's, garden --one of 7 or 8 we visited Sunday.
That's some mighty fine outdoor seating you have there ... dappling light is nice, too. :)
Seating wasn't mine but surely welcome after all our walking. Shade welcome too --and general. You know old neighborhoods, they look like forests from the air.
This seems like pure heaven to me.
Apt observation! "Paradise" comes from the old Persian word for walled garden.
A lovely image. Two friends relaxing in a serene setting. The only thing missing is an ice cold drink.
That might easily be what we were meditating on, Emma. Fortunately, that neighborhood is well-equipped with watering holes.
We young people sit just like you and Jim, albeit with video game controllers in our hands.
That's definitely a good way to practice. The art of sitting and doing nothing does not come all at once.
A very pleasing rhythm, G.
Thanks, Suze. The rhythm extends to all gardens, apartment flowerpots, giant forests --everywhere.
Sitting under a tree is nice and yet nicer with company.
It has always been nice --in childhood playing, and now with old friends.
Can I occupy that empty chair...?
We'd be honored!
