Tachycardia
A hummingbird's heart Beats a thousand times Each minute -- I ask, "Isn't that unbearable?" "Oh yes," she answers. "But there are moments When it's merely relentless." Courage, and encouragement Come in all sizes.
Hummingbirds Hammerheads and elephants And all other things for that matter Are natural wonders Courage And encouragement A bit of love And surprise No matter the size Are our biggest prize
Hope you're well too! I've been feeling better after a tough winter and hope to sustain and improve. Thanks for your encouraging comment. I'm toasting my nightcap of Woodbridge pinot noir toward Chico.

KK, you amaze me! Excellent treatment of the theme.
DeleteAnd if you are in need of either courage or encouragement, I would like to offer mine.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that hummingbirds' hearts beat so fast.
Compassion gladly accepted, Jenny. Hummingbirds also breath over 200 times a minute, and travel so very far each year.
DeleteIndeed agreed, Emma. Hummingbirds are such brave little things.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed by those tiny critters.
ReplyDeleteAs am I, Rick, they're among the most unlikely critters and beautiful as well.
DeleteTrue that.
ReplyDeleteMost kind. Thank you and welcome.
DeletePrecious, inspiring, hopeful words. Simply delightful. Thank you, Geo.
