A description of what started this particular blog can be found in its first entry --Feb. 9, 2009. It's about healing.
Atoms, accidents, life, everything changes. Nature cannot be controlled, but it can be maneuvered. I like what is against the norm and what is expected. I am, forever, a cautious optimistic. You are, also, dear Geo, and people like us never give up hope.
Hope? Oui, oui, mon cher esprit, tant que notre jardin parle français, we will always have hope!
It's really astonishing, when one stops to think about it, how many random things had to happen to bring any of us to this point in history. I'm not entirely sure my thought is related to your poem, but it was certainly inspired by it :D
It's a good and valid thought you have there, Jenny. Thank you.
It is mind boggling the powers of that which we cannot even see. And your abilities to so eloquently weave a few words into so much meaning. Take gentle care, gentle soul.
Thanks Robyn. Our few senses are attuned to survival on Earth. Beyond that we ride the roar of winds and tide --the voices of planets and stars.
Yes, so much going on behind the scenes in Nature...and all we see is the final product. And yet...even then, one atom can change...and evolution takes off in a whole new direction!!Oh I love your picture and words, Geo. You always get me thinking...deeply!Thank you so much!😊😊
Dear Ygraine, Nature is always beginning. We proceed; we are its memory and among its products. All directions lead to new ones.
What a beautiful little poem. I am now wondering about atoms moving about in my head as I attempt to think. I don't know; I feel like my atoms are a bit slow.
Thanks, kind Kerry. Just consider how many millions of neurons we contain in these cranial vaults and multiply that by possible connections. At the brink of 70, boys like me begin to wonder how quickly we can think --or think at at all. Despite all that, we compensate for slowed atoms with increasing stubbornness. Who'd have thought it would become a virtue?
Please, say hello! I welcome your comments, thoughts, even criticisms!
