Roofcat 2
Roofcat surveys all
He has no concept of
Owning --owns nothing
Except water in the
Creek, the shrieking
Things he eats and
Catches sunset where
Last it lays on the
Roofspine-- asks for
Nothing of mine from
His high peak so, though
A friend, seldom speaks.
Yes, I did love this, especially the 'shrieking things' and 'a friend, seldom speaks'.

ReplyDeleteWhere you at?
There she sat.
Drat.
(Have a good day, Geo.)
More awesome photos and a poem I loved.
ReplyDeleteThanks Geo ...

The "shrieking things part" gave me goose bumps. The poem is cute and the photo is so clear. Could you believe cats can sit any place even if it is dangerous.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I do not like cats. But I think they are a great example of evolution. Cunning indeed.
ReplyDeleteYes, that silent friend who sits there, asking absolutely nothing...and how lonely the roofspine would be without his presence...
ReplyDeleteA great post, Geo...I so enjoyed it :)
