Groundwork

An arch where vines
Outline illusion,
Beyond which
Stems curl,
Soldered in pearls
Where fog and
Woodruff fuse,
Compose a circuitry
Of choice and fate--
I am always
A pilgrim at this
Garden gate.

  1. I can see why you are a Pilgrim at this gate...wow...such a hypnotically beautiful place!

    Have a wonderful weekend...:)

  2. Great and fitting to see you under the vines that outline illusion (I love that phrase).
Very nice, Geo. Have a great week.

  3. The emotions we experience from the perfumed air of a garden remind us of the feeling we get at a place of worship. I think I pretty much summed up what I understand from this beautiful poem that you wrote.
