Geometry of Indivisibility

(Sunflower and Marigolds from Norma's Garden)

Circle unbroken, we
Woke into an arc, continued
A whole turn and
Learned each word
Reaches for the next.
The text endures.
It is yours and is, for me,
Mysterious, true.
It surrounds me.
It loves you.

    1. Thank you, dear Janie. Poems need a mood and mindset that has escaped me lately, but I'm working on it.

  4. At first, I took this as being about family but reading it a few times, I thought it could be much larger than that. It touched me and made me think further. Norma’s picture is lovely.

    1. Dear Arleen, yet again your take follows my writing precisely. Writing the little poem consumed 9 weeks. Sometimes it takes a while to make something personal become general. Relayed your compliment to Norma --she's over there smiling.

  5. A wonderful poem! I love how you portray that sense of an all inclusive circle...that envelopes us all in love and understanding...that stretches far beyond the meaning of mere words themselves...😊😊
And those flowers are so pretty!
Thank you so much for sharing this, my friend...and for those kind words you left on my blog. I so appreciate that.

Do hope you are staying safe and well.

    Have a fabulous weekend!
