Sweep Second Hand Redux

Some things
Are impossible
To find on purpose.
Composed
Of stunning antiquity
And futurity--
Particles, antiparticles
Shot from both
Ends of time--
palindromic rhyme,
To you and  me.
We seek  causality.

  1. So many scientific discoveries have been happy accidents, haven't they . . . beautifully put, although I had to read it while standing on my head with one eye covered before I finally untangled all the thoughts, not unlike a ball of string, Geo.!

  2. You did it again - worked magic with words. You always do, my talented, heartfelt friend.

    1. Magical Robyn, so long as quantum mechanics lends itself to poetry, we'll never lack subject matter (or energy) to write about. Thanks!

  3. Like the chicken and egg
Or the seed and the tree
    Sometimes it's a dead-end
    Seeking causality

    Not only are some things
    Impossible to find on purpose
    They are right there
In front of us if we let go of
Needless curiosity and lack of trust
